EXPERTISE WITHOUT
THE CONFLICT.
The panel exists to add informed judgment, not private preference. Selection, conflicts and scoring discipline matter as much as credentials.
NO SINGLE TASTE
GETS THE FINAL WORD.
Season 01 should recruit a deliberately mixed panel rather than cloning one design culture.
Digital product / UX.
Experience architecture, usability and product judgment.
Brand / creative.
Visual systems, communication and craft.
Growth / conversion.
Commercial clarity and customer decision behavior.
Technical / accessibility.
Production quality, implementation and inclusive experience.
Selection standard
Relevant professional work, demonstrated judgment, ability to score against a rubric, and willingness to disclose conflicts.
Conflict disclosure
Employment, investment, family, agency, vendor or meaningful commercial relationships with an entrant must be disclosed.
Recusal
A judge with a material conflict does not score the affected entrant. Missing scores are handled by the published normalization rule.
Score locking
Judges submit scores before seeing public-vote results where practical.
Evidence notes
High-impact scores should be supportable with concise written reasoning rather than taste alone.
Confidentiality
Private applicant information and unpublished scoring remain confidential until the League publishes them.
No sponsor control
A sponsor can never appoint a judge for the purpose of influencing an entrant or receive advance scoring access.
Public disclosure
The League should publish panel identities, relevant backgrounds and declared material conflicts before the relevant scored phase.
INTERESTED IN JUDGING?
Season 01 panel recruitment should happen after the methodology is frozen enough for a judge to know exactly what is being asked.
